OUR BESPOKE TEXTILE PROJECTS
Here you will find a few examples of the varying projects we have successfully completed, working closely with our client to understand and translate the concept they are looking for. We can comprehend, design, and deliver your ideal bespoke and elegant decor using any number of our various techniques.
STORES
Bergdorf Goodman | New York | Spring/Summer 2015
For this project, we worked closely with the Florence buying office and Bergdorf Goodman. We collaborated with them for two seasons, both Spring/Summer and Fall/Winter. We designed and developed a series of hand painted and screen printed samples for their buyers to choose from. Once the theme was decided, we designed pieces accordingly for each season. We then developed and produced the selected designs into napkins and table runners. Each collection was printed on linen and developed exclusively for Bergdorf Goodman.
Petersham Nurseries | London 2018
In this occasion, we decided to create an interesting proposal to work with Petersham Nurseries. Our Atelier and Petersham Nurseries are both located within greenhouses, a great opportunity to develop a collection inspired by both places. To keep in line with the nature and fauna and their ethos, Petersham Nurseries chose this design. The collection included in aprons, tea towels, table runners, and small picnic accessories. To go alongside the pop up sale at the shop we did a workshop, which was nominated one of the best at London Craft Week. This project was our first opportunity to be part of London Craft Week, which we plan to continue to be a part of.
EVENTS
Private Wedding | Historical Palazzo | Florence 2017
For this occasion, we worked with both the family and couple. The wedding was held at the families home in Florence and then in another location near the home. Here we created and developed a series of long table runners and table decorations using linen and jute. The theme was a floral one and featured the family crest on a few of the tablecloths, where were were able to demostrate our true ability to craft bespoke, one-of-a-kind products.
Camp Site for Burning Man | Nevada, Utah | August 2015
This was a wonderful opportunity, where we were able to travel to Los Angeles and work on an exciting project for Burning Man. For this one, we developed textiles for an entire camp site. Working together with the team of the Saudi Prince, we designed and developed a Bedouin style campsite. We worked on the digital design and had everything produced in Florence and then brought over. Each of the tents were hand painted individually inside and outside and then decorated with the textiles produced.
PRIVATE CLIENTS
Interior Design for Summer Villa | Tuscany, Italy | 2018
For this project we were totally in our element as we created a series of fabrics for cushions, headboards, and lampshades for the interior of Tuscan villa in the countryside. We were thrilled to showcase exactly what we are all about. The theme and designs were created and developed together with the client and all of the products are screen printed and hand panted on linen. This project was exclusive to the client and the home decoration.
Interior Restyling for Private Home | London, UK | 2016
For this project we worked again with the same client of our Burning Man project in 2015. The client was so happy with the work we completed for him previously that he commissioned us to decorate his home in London. The conservatory was bare and impersonal so we created for him a jungle with a tropical themed interior. We sourced elements and textiles from around London and also inserted a digital design series of window panels, as well as window runners and bed linens all hand painted for him. The projects was complex and used a variety of skills, interior design, styling and creation of our own textiles to enhance the place and give it true jungle feel.
PUBLIC PROJECTS
Interior Design for Private Members Club | Circolo dell'Unione Florence, Italy | 2017
We did not have much of a creative input for this project, as it was a corporate commission. But were were able to showcase our versatile skills and techniques through even the simplest project. We worked on the interior and focused on elements such as lampshades and dividers using the clients logo as the central focus. This project showcases that we can also work on more corporate and less experimental projects.
Decorative Elements for Boutique Hotel Ottantotto | Florence, Italy | 2017
For this project we worked closely with the architect and co-owner of the hotel. We created small decorative elements and finishing touches to a beautiful and
tasteful boutique hotel We created the artwork and designs for a series of place mats in collaboration with a Florentine brand called La Corallina, while the theme and style was decided by the architect. The variety of what we can do with our designs and patterns is endless, and we look forward to working soon with both clients.
